It's been thirty years since the Space Colonization Program's demise. Humanity is almost extinct. The Earth is besieged by a never-ending and lethal rain. "Junkers" are men who scavenge commodities and antiques from civilization's ruins. One of these Junkers climbs into the most perilous of all ruins—a "Sarcophagus City," where he discovers a pre-War planetarium. When he walks in, he is met by Hoshino Yumemi, a companion robot. Without a doubt, she believes he is the first customer she has had in 30 years. She tries to show him the stars all at once, but the planetarium projector breaks. He agrees to try because he can't make heads or tails of her conversation.
